Description
The hiking to the peak La Marmora (or in Sardinian language Perdas Crapias- which means Wild rocks) is a must in Sardinia. The path unwinds in 7,5 km from the mountains of Desulo, Erbas Birdes (green weds) till the peak in the territory of Arzana.
In case we will go there to watch the sunset, we’ll start the hike in the afternoon in order to come back at night, after the tasting on the mountains.
If you decide you want to witness the sunrise, then we’ll start hiking in the late afternoon, we will reach a base camp where we’ll set up the tent and sleeping bags. We will continue the hike to reach the peak at night, before dawn and then we will enjoy the beautiful moment, before going back to the cars.
This experience in the Gennargentu mountain chain is aimed to drag the traveler in our hiking activity in order to live his best out of the Sardinian mountain, far from the cities, in direct contact with nature and its inhabitants.
